Stafford House has been delivering language related courses for over 60 years. With a reputation for quality, excellent customer service, and attention to detail, we pride ourselves on meeting the individual needs of students and trainees. Stafford House Boston has been training excellent teachers for over ten years.

Help with Employment

We provide guidance on finding jobs and the broad range of career opportunities and specializations that exist within ELT. In addition, Stafford House International is part of Cambridge Education group, which employs English language teachers in the US, UK, and Canada. We recruit strong candidates directly from our CELTA courses to work in our junior summer programs and year-round adult schools. Once part of the Stafford House family, there are numerous career paths for English language teachers. We also have relationships with language schools in China, Italy, and Spain.

Accommodation

Stafford House Residence: Single and double rooms. Just steps away from neighborhood restaurants and shops, the location of West Roxbury residence provides our students a safe and suburban environment with easy access to our school and downtown Boston. A limited number of single rooms are available for FREE on a first come, first serve basis.

Homestay: Single rooms. Students opting for a more family-oriented and cultural experience can choose a Homestay in the metro-Boston area.

ESL Townhouse: Situated in the Fenway park area, these apartments are located directly across the street from a beautiful park with a river and sports facilities. There are many shops, restaurants and bars within walking distance. The apartments have 2 bedrooms and are shared between 2 to 3 people.

International Guest House: Located in Back Bay; Boston’s most stylish neighborhood. Nestled between quaint shops, cafes and some of Boston’s most celebrated attractions. International Guest House provides its guests with ample access to a wide variety of activities.

Refund Policy

If Stafford House Boston cancels a program after a Trainee’s enrolment, all monies paid will be refunded to the fee-payer, less the non-refundable deposit and registration fee.
Stafford House Boston will refund all fees in full, less the non-refundable deposit and registration fee, if written notification of cancellation is submitted prior to starting the course and prior to entering the country on a school sponsored I-20.
If the Trainee has entered the country on a school-sponsored I-20, but cancels prior to starting the course, the school will retain 4 weeks’ tuition.
There will be a charge equivalent to the cost of two weeks’ accommodation fees, if you cancel accommodation, or postpone your arrival date, less than 2 weeks before the start date.
Refunds will only be paid to the fee-payer, via the original payment method. In the case of cash payments, funds will be returned by check.
Refunds will be disbursed within 45 calendar days of receiving notice of cancellation.

Refunds will not be issued for any unused tuition or accommodation due to expulsion as a result of poor attendance, or disciplinary issues.
Any refunds due will be disbursed within 45 calendar days of receiving notice of withdrawal.
