I found the course Intensive and fabulously rewarding. The tutors were friendly, patient and impressive in every situation. The course provided me with skills and knowledge to improve my lesson planning and other practical aspects of my teaching. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Grade Education Centre and the CELTA training course.

In general, the course was pretty challenging, tutors / staff were helpful and supportive.

I'm glad I chose this place to take the course. The center is located in a nice area which is very close to the metro station. As for the course I was satisfied as well. Most of the inputs were informative and teaching practice feedback was very detailed. I'd especially like to mention that the tutors were extremely supportive throughout all of the course. There were a few administrative problems related to equipment but they were usually solved soon after a problem had been reported. Overall, I definitely recommend Grade to anyone who is going to take this course in Ukraine.

The course was useful, especially in terms of learning new concepts, sharing experience and learning from more experienced tutors and collegues, and constant feedback on everything you do.

I was informed that it was going to be very intensive and challenging, but I hadn't expected that it would be that demanding, stressful and sometimes exhausting. I felt it was going to be great, although I didn't even think that it would turn out to be so amazing, involving and educational. I learnt a great deal more than at the university. That's true, indeed. I'm so lucky to have met such knowledgeable, sophisticated and wise tutors. I'm very thankful to all my colleagues who were friendly, cheerful and helpful. The greatest team I've ever worked with and I'm truly delighted that we went together to the end. I miss that atmosphere, the tutors and colleagues after the course. CELTA was a great experience for me as a beginning teacher. The course was intensive and I've learnt a lot of new things. I worked harder and learned more during this course than any other I have taken in my academic career. As an American, my instruction over grammar had been lower than my colleagues, but the tutors and my colleagues were there to help me at every step.

Very intensive and stressful course, yet very useful and professionally established and taught. Preparation for the course is a must, especially to the beginning teachers (otherwise, be ready to run a 100-mile marathone). Overall, great experience!!!

Everything was fine, I am completely satisfied. If I had a chance I would come to get DELTA. The tutors were amazing, friendly enough and rather tolerant, the administration reacted quickly, we had all the stuff we needed. CELTA at Grade in Kiev was a great value. The center provided 24/7 access to the building and rooms with computers and printers. The staff was responsive to candidates' needs and was prompt and professional regarding pre-course inquiries. I would reccommend this city because it is beautiful and not expensive. Also, Ukranian people are serious students so you will have strong support from your cohort.

Extremely challenging but highly enjoyable.

The course was efficient for me and after the course I feel more confident. I really liked the tutors and the content of the course and the group and everything!!! But life is unpredictable and now I am teaching children, so I think CELTYL is waiting for me:)

It was a real challenge, but it was useful.

I would like to say that it was undoubtedly intensive and interesting month of my studying. The CELTA course is the very first step of my teaching career. It is the best thing I have ever done but also the hardest that I ever had to do. The course was very interesting, but intensive and challenging. All Grade staff was very friendly. The tutors were good, especially Svitlana. The guys from our group were very supportive. I liked our timetable: we started at 1p. m., so it wasn`t very hot. To my mind, during summer it makes sense. I am incredibly happy that I took this course as I feel more confident now. I discovered key principles of successful teaching. I like gradual development and assessment of the important teaching skills. It was quite tough to prepare language and grammar analysis for grammar lessons, but the reason was lack of teaching experience. Overall, I always needed more time to make my lesson close to successful. I tried to make a detailed plan but I didn't have time to rehearse it a couple of times so I sometimes was in a mess.

It was an amazing experinece and with the help of our great tutors I've learnt so much. I had a chance to look at my teaching from another angle and in a very natural way was able to accept and apply a lot of new technigues. The tutors sort of guided us through the course. I absolutely loved it!

Before I started the course I had already had some experience teaching English, but I quickly learned just how much I needed to improve. I'm greatly impressed by the course. To tell the truth, it surpassed my expectations. It's highly intensive and practical. It gave me loads of new information and helped to get structured the knowledge I had before . All methods and techniques we were taught really work and are applicable almost at any level. As I cannot afford to quit working for a month, dedicating all of my time to the course, I decided to take the part-time course, which lasted for two months and turned out to have a very convenient schedule for me. Apart from the schedule, I was very happy with the trainers, Svitlana Bulkina and Jackie Hadel, administrators, premises, facilities and also, the group I was in. All of it definitely contributed to our comfortable preparation for our lessons, delivering them and during the inputs. At any time we could come and find the room, materials, the copier or anything necessary, and if anything unexpected came up, Grade friendly and helpful staff were ready to assist and solve any problem, which all trainees were enormously grateful for given the stressful conditions of the course, continuous haste and trying to make everything work best. Since CELTA is not a relaxing course, but an intensive one (which is good as unless you get out of your comfort zone, you won`t grow professionally), all of the above mentioned definitely made the process smoother. If anyone there doubts which center to choose, I`m sure that Grade Education Center is the one they will be appreciative of. Best of luck for all future CELToids!

It was an amazing experience!!! I do appreciate all help and support I was provided with during the course. I am very thankful to both administrative staff and our lovely tutors for being real friends, while encouraging and cheering us up. I’ve just finished a part-time CELTA course at GRADE education center. My aim was to acquire theoretical and practical knowledge of the best practices of Cambridge teaching standards to become more efficient and professional English language teacher for adult learners. Thanks to my course tutors Svitlana Bulkina and Jackie Hadel as well as to the fellow teacher-students I may say that I've achieved my goal and now I'm ready to further polish up my teacher style and skills in a due direction. I enjoyed the part-time CELTA course a lot for I had the possibility to see the immediate favorable and practical results by introducing the newly obtained teaching techniques to my regular groups of business English learners. My lessons had become more student-centered and specifically targeted, with less teacher talking time and better time management. This was and continues to be the greatest motivating factor for me. It’s just over 10 days since I took my CELTA course. As for me - it was the great experience. I feel this was a good time to reflect on how much it has changed me as a teacher. The course taught me not only some special techniques and approaches to teaching English, but also it gave me the destination in my professional self-improvement as an English teacher, which I’m going to reach.

The course is definitely worth it, mainly thanks to the tutors! Yet, some inputs were rather superficial. But I guess that was due to the course scope which is a bit restricted.
