CCI English is the only education center offering the Cambridge CELTA in Israel. As the single approved CELTA center in Tel Aviv, CCI English is dedicated to delivering the University of Cambridge’s high quality training to aspiring and experienced English teachers.
We are conveniently located in the heart of Tel Aviv, close to transportation, shops and restaurants, and our center has modern facilities including a reception area, classrooms and a break area.
Our trainers all have years of international CELTA training experience and look forward to welcoming you to this dynamic and historical country.
As part of the application process we will ask you if you need help finding accommodation. For those who do, our enrollment team will put you in touch with our accommodation specialist. You will be able to let them know about your accommodation preferences and they will search for accommodation that suits your needs.
School accommodation is within walking distance of the school or a short public transportation ride away. Our accommodation package includes pick-up from within Tel Aviv City and a brief orientation to your apartment, neighborhood and how to get to school for your first day of class.
The price for a room in a shared apartment is typically around 2750 NIS plus tax per month and the price for a self-catering studio apartment is typically around 3500 NIS plus tax per month, but prices can vary depending on the season and requirements of the course participant.
We can also arrange airport pick-up and transfers upon request. A regular pick-up costs 300 NIS plus tax and a late night/early morning pick-up costs 350 NIS plus tax. Israeli tax is 17%.

And when you're taking a break from working on your CELTA course, you'll have plenty to do in Tel Aviv. You can take a walk on the beach, visit the expansive Hayarkon Park, haggle at Shuk Hacarmel, shop at the boutique stores in the Sarona Complex or find your own small corner of city to explore.
CCI’s CELTA center is located walking distance from Sarona complex, right in the heart of the city! Our neighborhood is one of the newest and most happening places in Tel Aviv. In this part of the city you'll never be far away from super places to eat and some of the best parks you’ve ever come across. It's a great location to help reduce your stress and lighten your mood before and after each CELTA session.
Tel Aviv is small enough so that you can get acquainted with the city easily when you arrive for your CELTA course, laid back and safe enough so that you can truly focus on your studies while you're here, and lively enough to keep you occupied during your study breaks.

The greatest learning experience I've so far. I couldn't possibly imagine how much you can learn in just one month.
It was a great experience. I'm sure I learned a lot but it was so intense that I'll need some time to decompress before I'll be able to realize all the progress I made in just 1 month. The staff was charming and I recommend anyone who wants to get a CELTA certificate to "Do your CELTA at CCI English in Tel Aviv." Just know that it is VERY intense and you're likely to miss some sleep and wrestle with some stress during this course. I am thankful I did the course though. Now it's over! Woo Hoo
I really enjoyed taking the CELTA course at CCI English. The course tutors are true professionals who work tirelessly to ensure that candidate's needs are met. Camaraderie, support, and positivity are universally encouraged. I have no doubt that CELTA is the right first step for all those considering a career in English teaching. Just be ready to put in the work. Expect 50-60 hour weeks including classroom time, lesson preparation, and assignment completion. Believe in yourself and you can do it!
