The four weeks at Basil Paterson were really intense, but very encouraging and empowering. I'm very thankful for the knowledgable tutors and their role-modeling, the clear interlinks between theory and practice and all the new techniques/frameworks I was introduced to. I feel much more prepared to enter a classroom again - and not only prepared, but I'm actually really looking forward to it.

It was a great experience and I learnt a lot

I thoroughly enjoyed the course. It was quite intense, as expected, but the curriculum was well-planned and the tutors made sure we had time to digest things. I thought both tutors were excellent and I really appreciated them sharing their hands-on teaching tips. Basil Paterson is a really friendly place to study in.

Really pleased with the course. Great tutors who were extremely suppportive, professional an knowledgeable. Students were also fantastic and helped us trainee teachers feel comfortable in the classroom while gaining some useful hands-on experience.

It was the toughest thing academically I've ever had to do but extremely rewarding when it was all finished. Plus the students were great and made it easier and more fun. And of course my fellow teachers made it fun too.

I found the course very rewarding.It helped that the students were very enthusiastic. Of course, it was intensive study with lots of homework but there was a lot of scope to inject your own personality into your lesson plan. I enjoyed watching my own and my colleagues' development throughout the course.

Completing the CELTA course was a challenging but incredibly worthwhile experience. I learnt far more than I thought that I would at the outset of the course and it has really encouraged me to think about teaching English in a whole new way.
