My experience taking DELTA module 2 at the Anatolia Training Institute was certainly a positive one for many reasons. Firstly, I liked very much how everything was structured using specific deadlines and the way in which the course was organized into different sections using Moodle. Secondly, the interactive sessions every Saturday morning kept me focused and they also helped me to sharpen my skills as a teacher as they helped me to increase my knowledge and understanding of teaching English. I was really satisfied with these sessions because the groups were small, I felt comfortable, and I got to meet some interesting teachers from around the world. Thirdly, the tutors were very professional, friendly, and approachable and were excellent at sharing their knowledge and experience as well as giving constructive feedback on our assignments. The feedback was detailed and pointed out our strengths and weaknesses. I truly believe that it allowed me to reflect on my teaching habits and make adjustments where needed to improve my teaching overall. I knew I was in good hands after the first session, and I had made the right decision to register for DELTA Module 2 at this institution. Finally, this course really made me feel more confident as a teacher and it certainly pointed me in the right direction for continuous professional development. The peer observations as well as the input sessions and feedback on assignments encouraged me to try out new techniques in my classes. What made this so rewarding was the simple changes that I made which had such a huge impact on the motivational levels of my students. This course was certainly a positive learning experience for me.
