This is a highly professional organisation. My course tutors certainly put their all into delivering the course and ensuring that we all improved our teaching and knowledge of pedagogy. For me the course was so positive (mid-life career change) that I have to describe it as life-changing. The students and trainees are well looked after here. Make no bones about it, it is hard work but also thoroughly enjoyable. The tutors really care. I would recommend this to anyone interested in doing the CELTA.

The course has certainly given me ample knowledge and skills to be geared up in the ESL/EFL industry. The administrative staff has been efficient in providing us information and guidance. Our tutors were excellent. They complimented each other with their unique character, methodologies and attitude. I appreciate how they maintained high level of professionalism throughout the course. Most importantly, we established mutual respect as trainees and mentors. I cannot complain about the facilities as nearly all the resources I needed during the course can be found in the school (The IWB is great!). I suppose a big thank you is my final comment. St. Giles met my expectation!

I really enjoyed my CELTA course with Jo and Phil at St Giles International. Jo and Phil were incredibly supportive and helpful both on and in the margins of the course and this support has also continue post-qualification, which I really appreciate. I took the course in the Highgate location and this was perfect for my CELTA cohort. The school is tucked away in a lovely area of London and the CELTA classrooms have their own nook at the bottom of the lovely garden. I went on to teach at St Giles Central over the summer and can give a thumbs up to this branch of St Giles too. The location is wonderful and the atmosphere at Central is great too, with the management team and experienced teachers being really supportive of CELTA students and newly qualified teachers alike. If you do apply, Emily and the admin team at Highgate are excellent and made the whole application process really smooth. Highly recommended!

CELTA has proved to be a highly motivating and confidence boosting experience for me as a language teacher. I have seen myself growing thousand folds as an eductor and a team player during its course.
