The CELTA course at International House Palermo is an amazing course and I would highly recommend it to anyone considering taking the CELTA. The staff were extremely attentive and engaging during the course and showed a high level of professionalism throughout. The tutors, Jonny and Caroline, were exceptional during the input lessons and very helpful, honest and constructive during feedback sessions in order to help you improve as a teacher. There was a fantastic atmosphere at the school and it was a pleasure doing the CELTA in Palermo. The staff were lovely and really went out of their way to make you feel at home. The school itself was equipped with up-to-date equipment, such as interactive whiteboards, computers and Wi-Fi in every classroom and around the school. The workload was intensive but well worth it. Palermo was a great city to explore when not studying or working at the school and has the luxury of beautiful beaches and incredible food everywhere. The CELTA gave me the confidence to go straight into teaching professionally, using the techniques and knowledge acquired during the course. I can’t recommend IH Palermo highly enough.
